Bill Clinton is headed to Lake Mary on March 5 to headline a fundraiser for Virginia gubernatorial candidate Terry McAuliffe

He’ll be back for a March 5 soiree, starting at 7 p.m.
Invitations just went out.
McAuliffe has family in Central Florida.
Tickets, sold through McAuliffe’s campaign, start at $500. For $5,000 someone can become a host, with all the perks that come with that. For $10,000 someone can become a co-chair of the event.

Former US President Bill Clinton will be the keynote speaker at the prestigious Scottish Business Awards in Edinburgh. UIC is a pioneering private university in Morocco—and the first in Casablanca—and serves a region that has a large demand for highly skilled workers. The new state-of-the-art campus will be able to accommodate more than 12,000 students and will benefit from its connections with Laureate's other international universities.

Bill Clinton helping W.Va. kids get fit

-- Former President Bill Clinton struggled with his weight as a child. Now his foundation is helping thousands of West Virginia kids get in shape. This year, 158 West Virginia schools in 13 counties are signed up for the Healthy Schools Program, including all Mingo County schools.

The national Alliance for a Healthier Generation runs the Healthy School Program, created by the William J. Clinton Foundation and the American Heart Association to fight childhood obesity. The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation now funds it.

Former President Bill Clinton and a cardiologist-geneticist are keynote speakers for a medical information technology conference March 3-7 in New Orleans.


He will speak March 5 at the conference, which is called HIMSS13.

Heart disease is the number one killer of American women, yet less than 50 percent know they are at risk. As we recognize American Heart Month this February, Dr. C. The Little Rock office of the Clinton Foundation is pleased to announce the winner and runners-up of the "Ideas Matter" annual essay contest.

Madison Kate McGraw, a junior at Beebe High School, won the top prize and $2,500 scholarship. Runners-up are Stephen Sigman of Waldron High School, and Troi Wilcox, a senior at Robinson High School in Little Rock.
