Read about the work of the Clinton Foundation

In cities and forests across the globe, Clinton Foundation programs are proving that we can confront the debilitating effects of climate change in a way that makes sense for governments, businesses, and economies. From iconic projects like the retrofit of the Empire State Building to tree-planting program that generates income for farmers in Malawi, our work to build more energy efficient cities and reverse deforestation has reduced global greenhouse gas emissions by tens of thousands of tons per year while also creating local jobs and boosting economies.

A special invitation from Chelsea Clinton for a memorable night

Amy, I hope that you will be able to join my father and me in Los Angeles, California, October 14 and 15, for a weekend celebration of "A Decade of Difference" that you have helped make possible.

On Friday, October 14, we will be honoring my father and his incredible work with his 65th Birthday Gala at the Hollywood Palladium. The evening will bring together some of our closest friends and Foundation supporters for a gala dinner with an opening reception, live auction, and a performance by the legendary Stevie Nicks. I hope you will join us for what I am sure is to be a memorable evening with my family.

On Saturday night, October 15, we will be holding a once-in-a-lifetime concert at the Hollywood Bowl featuring some of the most influential and socially responsible artists of our time, including Lady Gaga, Usher, The Edge & Bono, and more. Thousands will come together to celebrate through performances and film the Clinton Foundation's efforts to improve global health, strengthen economies, promote healthier childhoods, and protect the environment.

Tickets and VIP packages for the 65th Birthday Gala and "A Decade of Difference" concert are available at www.clintonfoundation.org/LA.

Thank you again for your continued support of the Clinton Foundation, and I hope to see you in Los Angeles!

Thank you,

Chelsea Clinton

Bill Clinton's speech at the Old State House

The scene today mimicked campaign rallies Clinton held while seeking the presidency. Fleetwood Mac’s “Don’t Stop” – the theme song of his run in 1992 – played while he took the podium. He shook hands and greeted supporters on the rope line for more than an hour after the event.
"I've had a great time these last 10 years being a has-been and watching Hillary be a senator, run for president, be Secretary of State,” Clinton said. “When we met many, many years ago - 40 plus to be exact - I thought she was the most gifted person of my generation. I still feel that way.”
