Clinton Foundation year in review

You helped make 2012 a remarkable year of progress around the world. See milestones from the past twelve months and tell us what else you did in 2012 to build a better world.
http://www.clintonfoundation.org/resources/year-in-review-2012.html

Barbra Streisand supports Bill Clinton again.

It's not a secret that I'm a big fan of President Clinton.

His unwavering commitment to helping people build a better future for themselves and their families has never ceased to amaze and inspire me.
So I hope you'll join me in supporting his Foundation. And, true to his commitment to this life-changing work, President Clinton will also personally match your gift, doubling the impact of your investment.

I am proud to support the work of his Foundation – fighting climate change; giving individuals and communities the chance to succeed; improving access to lifesaving medication in developing countries; and most recently, with the launch of the Clinton Health Matters Initiative, promoting health and wellness across all generations in the United States. I look forward to seeing what we can accomplish together. Sincerely,
Barbra Streisand https://re.clintonfoundation.org/SSLPage.aspx?pid=4536&utm_campaign=YE2012&utm_medium=email&utm_source=122612YE2012ND

Holiday message from Bill Clinton

http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10151211941957252&set=a.80803687251.82448.65646572251&type=1&theater

2012 has been quite a year, thanks to the unwavering support and dedication of people like you.

We broke ground on a new soy production facility in Rwanda. We have performed 45,000 cataract surgeries in Peru. More than 4,200 new jobs have been created in Colombia as a result of our efforts to help small producers connect with bigger markets. In Haiti, we brought together more than 1,600 investors and donors resulting in more than $150 million in investment to spur recovery and economic growth. Here in the United States, we've expanded our healthy schools program to 15,000 schools and we're growing our retrofit program to help more businesses and homeowners save energy costs while also combating climate change.

And that's just the start. Last month, we announced a brand new program – the Clinton Health Matters Initiative – to empower people of all ages across the U.S. to live a healthier lifestyle and to inspire individuals, communities, and corporations to make health and wellness a priority.

All of these things are making the world a better place, and all of them have been accomplished because of supporters like you. Thank you!

In the coming year, I hope you'll continue to share your gifts when and where you can, to give new hope to those who need it, and to foster positive change in your own backyard and in regions around the world.

I wish you and your family a healthy and happy holiday season, and all the best in the coming new year.

Sincerely,

Bill Clinton

Hillary Clinton Health Update II

Another unnamed State Department official has provided a bit more information on Mme. Secretary’s progress.  A U.S. official tells ABC News that Clinton is feeling more “like herself” and would like to go back to work, but doctors have advised it may take several weeks and want the secretary to rest. That is standard for concussion treatment.

The Clinton docu will explore the perspectives of the country’s 42nd POTUS on history, politics, culture and the world, the network said. Scorsese has the full support of the 42nd president, who said, “I look forward to sharing my perspective on my years as President, and my work in the years since, with HBO’s audience.” The docu is being made with the full cooperation of Clinton, the Time Warner-owned network said, adding that Steve Bing also is producing.
