Bill Clinton Backs Senate Effort on Climate-Change Compromise
Former President Bill Clinton today endorsed efforts led Senator John Kerry, a Massachusetts Democrat, to craft a compromise on climate-change legislation.
Kerry is “trying to give us an energy plan that will create lots of jobs and improve our national security and I basically went there and said I agree with him,” Clinton told reporters after a Capitol luncheon meeting with lawmakers.
