August events at the Clinton Presidential Center
In August, the Clinton Center celebrates President Clinton's 67th birthday with a free admission day and the annual Head of the Class Bash where the first 1,500 students will receive backpacks filled with school supplies. And all guests can participate in the fun and festivities as we prepare for a new school year. Additionally, the Center debuts its newest temporary exhibit, "And Freedom for All: The March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom," on August 10. This timely and compelling exhibit commemorates the 50th anniversary of the March on Washington where Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., delivered his visionary "I Have a Dream," speech. And "Oscar de la Renta: American Icon," is the first retrospective of de la Renta’s 50-year career and showcases more than 30 of his original designs. All this and more!
