Jonathan Harris, the party’s executive director, announced in an
email sent Thursday night to supporters that the former president will
appear for a rally on Sept. 2 at the Omni New Haven Hotel. He will be
joined by Gov. Dannel P. Malloy and Lt. Gov. Nancy Wyman, who are
seeking re-election in November.
U.S. Sens. Richard Blumenthal and Chris Murphy are also scheduled to be on hand for the 11:30 a.m. event.
The email included a link that allows attendees to purchase tickets online at $50 each. A disclaimer at the bottom of the ticket order form said the funds raised from the event will be used “in connection with federal elections.”
