Former President Bill Clinton coming to Connecticut

Jonathan Harris, the party’s executive director, announced in an email sent Thursday night to supporters that the former president will appear for a rally on Sept. 2 at the Omni New Haven Hotel. He will be joined by Gov. Dannel P. Malloy and Lt. Gov. Nancy Wyman, who are seeking re-election in November.
U.S. Sens. Richard Blumenthal and Chris Murphy are also scheduled to be on hand for the 11:30 a.m. event.
The email included a link that allows attendees to purchase tickets online at $50 each. A disclaimer at the bottom of the ticket order form said the funds raised from the event will be used “in connection with federal elections.”

Today Bill Clinton visiting RI Wednesday for Magaziner

Former President Bill Clinton will be in Rhode Island on Wednesday afternoon to stump for Democratic general-treasurer candidate Seth Magaziner, the son of a longtime close Clinton confidante.
Clinton is scheduled to headline a rally for Magaziner at 4:15 p.m. at the Rhode Island Convention Center in Providence.

Clinton Global Initiative University 2015 meeting to take place March 6-8 at the University of Miami

The meeting, hosted by President Clinton and Chelsea Clinton, will bring together more than 1,000 innovative student leaders to make Commitments to Action that address some of the world's most pressing challenges. More than $500,000 in funding will be available to select CGI U 2015 students to help them turn their ideas into action. Program details and featured speakers will be announced at a later date.
