Bill Clinton Delivers Keynote Address at Beaumont Dinner

Former President Bill Clinton quickly slipped in and out of town Friday to be the headliner at a private Beaumont Health Systems party.

Clinton delivered the keynote address Friday at the 2011 Beaumont Society Dinner at the Troy Marriott, an event celebrating a seven-year Campaign for Beaumont Hospitals, which has raised millions of dollars and ends Dec. 31.

The fundraiser exceeded its goal of $170 million, Beaumont officials said. The funds will go toward the clinical areas of heart and vascular, oncology, urology, orthopedics, geriatrics and pediatrics.

The Clinton Economic Opportunity Initiative (CEO) held their second mentorship seminar in Philadelphia with keynote speaker, Eric Berridge, co-Founder and CEO of Bluewolf and two-time EMP Mentor.

In 2011, 95% of the entrepreneurs who have participated in CEO’s Entrepreneur Mentoring Programs have credited EMP for helping their business performance during the recession with 85% of participants rep...orting increased operational efficiency, and 60% reporting improved cash flow as a direct result of the program. In addition, 40% of participants reported they were able to expand their client base, and 35% reported they were able to expand their product lines.

The program currently operates in New York, Philadelphia, Oakland and Chicago.
