Clinton Health Matters Initiative will help close the gender gap in heart disease awareness and research.
Heart disease is the number one killer of American women, yet less than 50 percent know they are at risk. As we recognize American Heart Month this February, Dr. C. Noel Bairey Merz, director of the Barbra Streisand Women’s Heart Center, explains on our blog how the Center’s pledge with the Clinton Health Matters Initiative will help close the gender gap in heart disease awareness and research.
