One of the country's most extensive childhood obesity prevention efforts, the Alliance for a Healthier Generation's Healthy Schools Program is helping more than 9,000 schools in the United States make significant changes in the areas of healthy eating, physical activity, and staff wellness to help tomorrow's generation be healthier. Through this program, the Alliance, a partnership between the Clinton Foundation and the American Heart Association, has already helped 5 million students get more access to physical activity and healthier foods before, during, and after school.
