When I established my Foundation, I wanted to focus our work on the issues that I cared about most and where we could have the greatest impact: economic empowerment in the United States and in some of the poorest places on Earth; the childhood obesity epidemic in the United States; climate change around the world; health and education initiatives globally; and now, the reconstruction efforts in Haiti.
