Bill Clinton says ‘Vote Strickland’ for a better job market
Clinton was asked three questions during his speech.
First, where are the new jobs going to come from?
“From small businesses, manufacturing and clean energy efficiency,” he answered.
Second, where’s the money going to come from?
“We need to figure out what it takes to get those loans.” Loans, he means, from the government.
Thirdly, if we can create the jobs and have the money to fund them, who’s going to fill them?
According to Clinton, more than 10 percent of the Ohio population is living at home because they can’t afford to move. This is due to the fact that people don’t have the job skills necessary to fill the available jobs out there.
“We just need to train them,” he said.

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Former President Bill Clinton said Clinton put the blame for the economy on Republican policies before Strickland took office in 2007. He said Strickland has laid the foundation for a recovery in Ohio with strong economic development programs and deserves to be re-elected to a second term.
