Clinton Foundation linked $20billion solar park planned for Northern Cape enters second phase of feasibility study
Fluor Corporation of Texas has announced its to conduct a follow up feasibility study looking into the potential for a solar park in the Northern Cape.
The Department of Energy is behind the initiative and Fluor says its completed the first phase of what’s known as the Clinton Climate Initiative.
It’s a program funded by the Bill Clinton Foundation and Fluor says its now going to develop a more detailed conceptual master plan to be unveiled at the upcoming South African Solar Park Investors Conference on October 28 and 29 in Upington.
