The event is the last of the four so-called "National Dialogues" organized by a group called the State Budget Crisis Task Force that will focus on federalism. Clinton Global Initiative America 2013 Meeting Report

On June 13-14, President Bill Clinton hosted the third meeting of CGI America in Chicago to drive action on economic recovery in the United States. He was joined by nearly 1,000 leaders from across sectors to develop concrete solutions for a wide array of economic and social challenges, ranging from employment and workforce training to community development and energy security.
The collective efforts of CGI America 2013 attendees resulted in the announcement of 74 new commitments. In addition, President Clinton announced the progress of several outstanding 2011 and 2012 commitment-makers, whose work has already impacted more than one million lives.

Since 2009, the Clinton Climate Initiative has been working with the City of Los Angeles to retrofit 141,089 street lights. On June 18, 2013, City of Los Angeles Mayor Villaraigosa announced that with support from the Clinton Climate Initiative and the C40 Cities Climate Leadership Group, Los Angeles has completed the largest light-emitting diode (LED) street light replacement program in the world – saving the city $7 million and reducing carbon emissions by 30%. http://vimeo.com/68626385

Frank and Kula Kumpuris Distinguished Lecture Series at the Clinton Center featuring Dr. Sanjay Gupta of CNN

Dr. Sanjay Gupta, the multiple Emmy-award winning chief medical correspondent for CNN. Gupta, who will discuss the intersection of media and medicine, is a practicing neurosurgeon who anchors the weekend CNN medical affairs program "Sanjay Gupta, MD." He also plays an integral role in CNN’s health and medical reporting for "Starting Point," "Anderson Cooper 360°" and CNN documentaries. His medical training and public health policy experience distinguish his reporting on a range of medical and scientific topics including brain injury, disaster recovery, health care reform, fitness, military medicine, HIV/AIDS and other areas.

You and a guest are invited to attend the exhibition opening of "Tribute to George Washington." The exhibition opening includes a keynote by Pulitzer Prize-winning author Joseph J. Ellis and President and CEO of Mount Vernon Curtis G. Viebranz. Joseph Ellis is one of the nation's leading scholars of American history.

Enniskillen exhibition highlights former US president Bill Clinton’s role in Irish peace process

Former US President Bill Clinton’s role in the Irish peace process is being highlighted this week at a major exhibition at the Clinton Centre in Enniskillen coinciding with the centre’s summer school.

The centre was built a decade ago on the site of the 1987 bombing in the town that
