Greetings from the new CEO of the Clinton Foundation
I've only been CEO of the Clinton Foundation for two weeks – but I know one thing for sure: we need your ideas and advice.
From the day I joined, I've been asking colleagues around the world how we can do more to improve lives. The more I learn about our initiatives, the more I believe that it really does take all of us – the public, private, and nonprofit sectors working together – to make a meaningful difference in people's lives.
I've heard a lot from our staff about the opportunity ahead together. Now I want your thoughts on our work.
Will you please take a few minutes to tell me why you support the Clinton Foundation and what you see as its future?
You have a unique perspective that I want to hear, and your priorities and thoughts are essential to carrying out our vision.
I am humbled by all that you have already done — in a measurable way — to help people, and I promise to work together with you to help us build on what we know works and continue to find areas where we can make a difference.
Help me get a good start on my work here by sharing your thoughts about the Foundation's work.
Thank you in advance for your ongoing commitment and support.

PHOTOS Bill Clinton greets The American Legion Boys Nation delegates as they convene
"I had the opportunity to meet with my
congressional delegation including Senator Fulbright, for whom I later
worked, members of the president's cabinet and, of course, President
Kennedy," Clinton began. "That week had a profound impact on me. I was
deeply inspired to pursue a life in public service.
"Of
course," Clinton continued, "I couldn't know then what jobs I'd have or
when I would be elected, or what I'd be elected to, or even if I would be elected. I did know that I wanted to spend my life being of service.
"So,"
the former president concluded, "I hope that whatever you choose to do
with your lives, whatever career you choose, that your week in Boys
Nation will inspire the same desire to give back to your communities,
your country and to people all over the world." http://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/bill-clinton-observes-50th-anniversary-of-youthful-life-changing-week-216286911.html
